IT’S time to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends with the popular train set to hit the tracks again.
After a short holiday with friends Percy, James and Emily and train will make its return to the Dandenong Ranges.
With the line between Belgrave and Gembrook one of the children’s stars favourite tracks, he will be back again during his annual visit to Melbourne.
Make sure you set aside a day this October to join with Thomas and friends and book a 20-minute ride on the train.
The fun doesn’t stop there, with face painting, a chance to meet the Fat Controller, animal nursery, jumping castle and much more. A special price for the ride with Thomas is $26 for adults and children over four years and $13 for one to three-year-olds.
Puffing Bill is a different way to entertain the family and take in the villages of the hills such as Emerald and Gembrook.
Dates for Thomas’ visit include 18, 19 and 25, 26 October and 9, 10 and 16, 17 November.
Bookings are essential and seats are limited. Tickets for the spring 2014 season of ‘Day out with Thomas’ will go on sale in early August.
