RESIDENTS of Edrington Retirement Village danced the day away last week when they were treated to a professional demonstration.
Dancers from Viva La Dance of Croydon – including Brian and Maureen Joyce whose granddaughter and grandson were part of the ensemble – treated the Berwick residents to a colourful, swirling trip down memory lane with Paso Doble, Foxtrot and Quickstep.
The group has come out for the past two years and Mrs Joyce said the afternoon was a big hit, they even had to, “bring more chairs into the lounge room” so people could watch.
“It was very good,” Mrs Joyce said.
While some preferred to sit back and let the professionals do the work, other couples from the village got up to put their best foot forward.
