Cows v Commodore

By BEN CAMERON

A 37-year-old female driver from Drouin has walked away from an accident on Old Drouin Road in Longwarry after hitting two cows this afternoon.

Drouin Police Leading Senior Constable John Hardiman said the Holden station wagon was a complete write-off.

“The lady was travelling in a 100km/hr zone and she’s struck the two cows on the road,” she said.

“The fire brigade was called to clean up the mess.

“The woman was uninjured though.”
