PLENTY of families turned out for a day of fun at the Lang Lang Show over the weekend.
The annual event, which has been running since 1901, was well attended by happy boys and girls who spent their time on exhilarating rides or cuddling up to competition horses.
Lang Lang Pastoral Agricultural and Horticultural Association secretary Cheryl Berry said around 1000 people made it down to the Saturday 17 January event.
“It was fantastic. People said they had a really good day,” she said.
The crowd was spoilt for choice on the day – choosing between various showjumping events, the “Cattle Spectacular” and various craft and flower stalls.
Plenty of smiling faces also turned out to the free art activity run by former art teacher Robert Greeves while a magician captured everyone’s attention.
The event was opened by Member for Bass Brian Paynter.
