Third murder charge over Bayles death

A 45-year-old Pakenham man has been charged over the death of Raymond Parker in Bayles in January.
Garren Philp faces one count of murder and theft of a motor car.
He is the third man to be charged by Homicide Squad detectives over Mr Parker’s death.
Mr Philp appeared before a bail justice overnight and has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this morning.
The charges relate to the death of the 75-year-old whose body was found in his Kooweerup-Longwarry Road home about 2.20pm on 13 January.
Detectives have already charged a 23-year-old Officer man and a 49-year-old Matong man with one count of murder.
