Generations of gratitude

On 19 April this year along with numerous cousins I travelled to the Royal Botanical Gardens to gather at a tree planted by my grandfather Ernest Bugg in memory of his brother and my great uncle Arthur William Bugg and E J Hiskins who were employed there.
The Buggs were third generation of the family to be employed there.
The Bugg brothers sailed for the war front but Arthur became ill and was put in hospital in Cairo where he passed away, diagnosis meningitis.
He was buried in the war cemetery in Cairo.
I would like to congratulate all Gazette staff that contributed to the wonderful edition of the Gazette celebrating 100 years of Anzac.
The best edition I have read in over 40 years.
They deserve a Thumbs Up.
Mavis Russell,
Pakenham.
