IT is not every day that Demons descend on Pakenham’s Toomuc Reserve, but for a lucky bunch of South East Juniors footballers, they got a chance to meet a couple of their red-and-blue heroes.
Melbourne number 2 draft pick Christian Petracca and senior-listed midfielder Jayden Hunt braved the rain and wind in Pakenham over the weekend to meet some of their smallest, but most eager fans at the South East Juniors Little Demons Day.
The juniors got their chance to learn off the Melbourne duo – who would have been on cloud nine after the Demons’ big upset victory over Richmond on Friday night.
The bigger Demons taught all the little Demons what it takes to become a league footballer and ran the juniors through their paces with the handball target and also signed a truckload of autographs for the throng of junior supporters.
