With a career in photography spanning 15 years, Genelle Bevan’s hardest job came in May 2014.
The Berwick photographer was selected to capture the wedding on Married at First Sight, airing last Monday 25 May on Channel Nine.
The show carefully matches couples who then commit to each other at first sight.
Genelle said capturing the wedding of two people who didn’t know each other presented a number of unique challenges.
“There was an interview process and the producers asked me how I would go shooting two people who were, basically, strangers,” she said.
“I knew I could do it because I’ve done a lot of work with models, but it was still an interesting shoot.”
Genelle was visible to audiences during parts of last night’s episode for what she laughs off as her “55 seconds of fame”.
She owns Immerse Photography in Turner Street, Berwick.
