ALLEGATIONS of a home being used for illegal swingers parties are being investigated by Cardinia Shire Council.
It has been alleged a residential home in Pakenham is being used to host sex parties for couples and singles who are required to pay to take part.
Council has confirmed they are investigating the claims.
“Council is aware of the alleged issue, and is continuing to investigate,” said council spokesperson Paul Dunlop.
The Gazette was made aware of the claims detailed in a letter which is believed to have been written by a neighbour living near the suspected swingers venue.
The letter, which urged residents to contact council to investigate and shut down the alleged swingers operation, claimed the parties get swinging on Friday and Saturday nights.
“There is no security at the door and sooner or later the wrong element is going to be attracted to these parties and then who knows what may happen … this is certainly not the kind of thing that should be going on in a suburban area and in a narrow, quiet street,” the letter read.
More details to come.
