Caught speeding twice in 12 minutes

A PAKENHAM man failed to learn his lesson on Saturday night, getting booked for speeding twice within 12 minutes.
The 31-year-old was speeding along Kingston Road in Heatherton when he was booked by the Moorabin Highway Patrol and issued with an infringement notice at 7.42pm.
Just 12 minutes later, the same vehicle was detected speeding on South Road, also in Moorabin.
While the first incident cost the man a $190 infringement notice and the loss of one demerit point, the second warranted a $303 infringement and loss of three demerit points.
A police statement said the man was told by police to make sure this circumstance doesn’t come in threes.
