AUSTRLALIAN basketball legend Andrew Bogut took some time off to show Tynong youngster Aaron Davidson the ropes at the Mac Pack Basketball Super Clinic.
The 12-year-old was one of over 500 lucky children to win a place at this year’s clinic, held at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre on Sunday 23 August.
Aaron had the chance to show off his shooting, passing and dribbling skills to Australia’s favourite NBA star and a host of other NBL and WNBL players.
Playing with Australia’s national team during the NBA off season, Bogut was instrumental in helping the Boomers quality for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
He said the clinic was a great chance for him to share his tips and tricks with young kids who love the sport.
“Basketball is my passion and it’s one that I want to share with today’s juniors. The clinic is a chance to help them develop and to encourage them to keep having a go and stay involved with the sport.”
