THE Rotary Club of Pakenham has recently undertaken and built for the community a new picnic shelter with tables and seats.
This is the first stage of what will become a picnic area along the Toomuc Creek in the extension of Rotary Park south of the railway line in the Heritage Park Estate.
It is envisaged that the next section will include two stainless steel electric barbecues and the final stage a further shelter and tree planting.
The Rotary Club of Pakenham extends sincere appreciation to Van Steensal Timber Supplies, Officer, and Bunnings Warehouse, Pakenham, for their involvement in this very important community project.
The Rotary Club of Pakenham is currently preparing to install fitness stations at various locations along the pathways in Rotary Park.
