Police take on hard case

POLICE are searching for a nearly toothless man over the theft of more than $50,000 worth of tools from an unsuspecting equipment hire company in Berwick.
At approximately 10.20am on Monday 17 August, an unknown person contacted the Berwick hire company, ordering a number of items to be used for concrete cutting and drilling work.
The caller requested the items be delivered to an address in Enterprise Avenue in Berwick and charged to a maintenance business.
The nominated business did not place the order, according to police who are now searching for the stolen items valued at $53,500.
Police have released an image of a male who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
The man is thought to have as few as five teeth and a 60-70 per cent likeness to the sketched image provided.
