EXPECT major delays in Pakenham this afternoon as train lines halt traffic across town.
Commuters have been warned to expect significant delays on services arriving and departing from Pakenham due to track equipment faults.
V/Line indicated services will be delayed for about 40 minutes.
The track failure is causing commuters and drivers headaches, with traffic banking on McGregor Road and Station Street as a result of the fault.
