GREAT racing action, entertainment and fashion will go hand-in-hand at the spring carnival race in Pakenham this weekend.
On Saturday 10 October, Pakenham Racecourse will host Empire Guineas Day.
Hosted in conjunction with Empire Nightclub, the day guarantees full-on entertainment provided by the club’s resident DJs as well as the return of the popular Lawn Part package.
The race course will be abuzz the next week with the Browns Sawdust and Shavings Raceday on Thursday 15 October which includes prize money of more than $365,000.
The highlight of the day will be the running of the $120,000 Browns Sawdust and Shavings Cup.
The Pakenham Racing Club will again have free courtesy buses departing from the Cardinia Club and Pakenham and Tynong train stations for both race days.
