A GROUP of enthusiastic singers received a significant boost last week, thanks to the generosity of the Casey-Cardinia Foundation.
On Thursday 26 November, foundation members Paul Thomas, Amanda Stapledon and Jack Mitchell as well as Executive Officer Therese Howell met with Outlook representatives to discuss the benefits that the All Together Choir brings to the community.
Following this, foundation chairman Paul Thomas presented Outlook CEO Tony Fitzgerald with a $3000 cheque at the weekly rehearsal of the choir.
The money was provided through the foundation’s Community Grants program, which provides funds for local community groups throughout the City of Casey and the Cardinia Shire.
The All Together Choir is a group that welcomes people of all ages and abilities to a weekly rehearsal and lunch gathering. Facilitated by Outlook, it was formed in September 2014 under the guidance of Dr Jonathon Welch AM.
Mr Fitzgerald thanked the foundation for supporting the choir and its members.
“Outlook, as host of the choir, is very grateful to the Cardinia Foundation and every little bit helps this inspiring group of people.”
