IT’S that time of year again, and writing a letter to Santa may be the perfect way to secure your spot on the nice list.
Australia Post is inviting children across Melbourne to send their wish lists to the North Pole for consideration by Mr Claus himself.
To ensure Santa reads and responds, put letters in an envelope addressed to Santa, North Pole, 9999. Include your full name, address and a stamped envelope so Santa will be able to reply.
Executive general manager of Postal Services at Australia Post, Christine Corbett, said now was the time to post Santa letters to ensure a reply before Christmas.
“With so many good boys and girls in Melbourne this year, Australia Post is expecting to send even more letters to the North Pole this Christmas, so be sure to get yours in the mail as soon as possible so Santa has plenty of time to write back,” she said.
“Writing a letter to Santa is easy and fun. It is a good way for children to learn and practice their letter writing skills.”
Letters to Santa can be posted in any Australia post red post box or in-store at selected offices.
