WINNING a brand new car is a stroke of luck many could only dream of.
Tamara Hewish was one such lucky woman who won a Mazda 2 Neo Hatch at a fun day hosted by Car Megamart in Pakenham on Sunday 22 November.
Attending the event with her mum, the trainee dental nurse said she was shocked when she was picked from 500 eligible entrants as the winner.
“I just froze and started crying. I couldn’t believe it,” she said.
The timing was perfect for Tamara, who had been driving her dad’s car after her car recently broke down.
As well as the car giveaway, guests had the opportunity to meet and have their photos with AFL footballers Campbell, Brown, Sam Fisher and Jamie Elliot and take part in other free fun activities and prize giveaways.
The Gazette was there when Tamara was handed the keys to the car on Friday 27 November.
