Stolen keys in police custody

The keys found on the alleged offender are believed to belong to a victim of another burglary.

PAKENHAM police are seeking to reunite a burglary victim with a set of stolen keys which were found on a charged teen.
Police recovered the keys on a 17-year-old alleged burglar following his arrest at Pakenham Market Place Shopping Centre on 14 December.
The Kensington teen was charged over a series of aggravated burglaries committed throughout Pakenham.
He was captured by police after being chased down by a victim who was woken up during the aggravated burglary attempt.
Police suspect the keys belong to the victim of a previous burglary and are seeking to return them.
Inquiries have been made relating to the attached identification tag yet an owner has not been identified.
The owner of the keys is being asked to contact Constable Moorfield at the Pakenham police station on 5945 2500.
