YOUNG victims from across the city’s south-east and outer regions were alleged to have been sexually abused in a historic sexual assault claim before the courts.
A 53-year-old man from Endeavour Hills was recently charged with multiple sexual offences alleged to have occurred between 1991 and 2010.
Tens of young victims were believed to have been abused by the man during the 19 years of alleged offending.
Police said the victims were from the south-eastern suburbs, West Gippsland and Baw Baw areas.
The man has been charged and will appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on 9 June.
The court will hear the man was as young as 28 when he allegedly began sexually assaulting victims in the early ’90s.
