TEN more V/Line weekday services will return to trains across the network from 26 April, with the two current Gippsland replacement services continuing to run as buses.
Of the 36 weekday services on the Gippsland rail line, 34 are running as trains.
The two coach replacement services run during off-peak times at 11.20am from Southern Cross to Traralgon and 4.15pm Traralgon to Southern Cross.
Public Transport Minister Jacinta Allan said V/Line train services were one step closer to returning to the normal timetable.
“By the end of the month, 97 per cent of services will be back on the tracks, with full restoration by the middle of the year,“ she said.
V/Line spokesperson Ebony Jordan said free travel continued to be available on coach replacement services.
