THREE people were hospitalised following a head-on crash between two cars on a dangerous bend of road in Cardinia.
At about 1pm on Monday 2 May, a four-wheel drive and truck collided on Cardinia Road near Wenn Road.
Four people in the truck at the time of the collision were uninjured in the crash, however three people in the four-wheel drive were transferred to hospital in a stable condition as a result of the collision.
Police at the scene of the crash responded to a similar crash on the same 100km/h stretch of road about two weeks ago.
It is advised motorists travel at 40km/h through the dangerous bend.
The police member said they were often called to the site due to people driving too fast around the bend.
Emergency crews on site closed the road for an hour and a half.
Both cars sustained extensive damage as a result of the collision and had to be towed from the scene.
