EVERGREEN Retirement Village’s first business expo was a “huge success”, attracting more than 100 people through its doors.
All the businesses involved said they wanted to come back and do it all over again, according to village manager Annie Roberts.
“We have had a lot of positive feedback from people who attended,” she said.
“And it was certainly a benefit to the village as well.
“Some of the highlights were the sausage sizzle, manicures, pedicures and massages – all free.”
There were also door and raffle prizes donated by the businesses themselves.
Local businesses featured at the expo included Bohemia Travel, Butterfly Body Works, Heritage Springs Butchers, Langmore Podiatry, McGregor Gardens Aged Care Facility and Soothe Massage.
After the event’s success, Evergreen plans to host another expo either later this year or early next year.
