Credit card theft men sought

Investigators have released images of three men they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.

CREDIT cards stolen from a car in San Remo last month have been used to purchase cigarettes in Pakenham, Kooweerup and Lang Lang.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the theft of two mobile phones, house keys, and three wallets containing cash and credit cards from a car parked on Punch Bowl Road on 28 May.
The credit cards were used “a short time later” to buy cigarettes at stores in the Cardinia shire region.
The victim had parked his car at about 3.30pm. He returned from a walk on the beach with his friends to find that the tailgate had been forced open and a hammer, which was used to smash the passenger windows, was stolen.
Witnesses told police that they saw a white VN-VS Holden Commodore station wagon in the area at the time of the incident.
Investigators have released images of three men they believe may be able to assist them with inquiries relating to theft and deception.
