AN INTRUDER has tip-toed past the bedroom of a sleeping Officer man, stealing his housemate’s car keys.
The champagne-coloured Holden Cruze with registration plate ZQF 748 is still missing.
Police believe the owner of the car, a 21-year-old woman, left her Avebury Place, Officer, unit for work before 7am on Friday 22 July.
She is thought to have left the door unlocked.
Sometime between her leaving and her housemate waking up about 11am, the keys and her car were stolen.
Police believe the offender/s got into the unlocked house, crept past the room where the male housemate was sleeping, took the keys from the kitchen bench and drove away.
Nothing else was stolen from the home.
