A MARYKNOLL teen driver is battling life-threatening injuries following a serious single-car crash in Longwarry North over the weekend.
The 18-year-old Maryknoll woman was flown to The Alfred hospital in a critical condition following the 6.40pm crash on Sunday 25 July.
Police were called to the crash on Princes Highway, Longwarry North, soon afterwards to find the woman’s red Kia Rio sedan crashed into a tree.
She was travelling east on the highway and is believed to have crossed onto the wrong side of the road and crashed into a tree.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
