Three charged after shooting

POLICE have charged a man from Officer after a shooting in Carrum Downs earlier this month.
The anti-outlaw motorcycle gang police unit, Echo Taskforce, executed five search warrants in the south east including in Pakenham and Officer on Wednesday morning after a Cranbourne man was found in Carrum Downs with gunshot wounds to his leg on 1 October.
Police raided homes in The Circuit in Pakenham, at an unknown street in Officer and in Carbine Street, Donvale.
A 27-year-old Officer man was charged with 10 offences including theft, assisting an offender and possessing a drug of dependence.
He was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 13 October.
A 22-year-old Pakenham man and a 19-year-old Pakenham woman were arrested in relation to drug offences which were unrelated to the shooting.
They were released pending further inquiries.
