Chrome classics show their shine

Classic cars of all vintages will be on display.

THE 12th anniversary Cora Lynn Country Car Show and Swap Meet is on at Lardner Park on Sunday 23 October.
Affectionately known as the last of the chrome bumpers, on display will be vintage caravans, hot rod and custom cars, classic and vintage cars and classic trucks.
There will also be chrome super trucks, vintage traction engines and farm machinery and tractor pull display vehicles.
In one pavilion will be a special display of vehicles celebrating anniversaries.
There will be specially designated swap meet area and entertainment for children under 12 years old.
The picnic atmosphere will make for a great family day.
Last year 8000 car enthusiasts flooded through the gates.
Lardner Park is only 20 minutes from Pakenham, making it very accessible using the freeway.
Lardner Park has undercover areas for trade alley patrons, grassed areas for picnickers and plenty of display areas for all vehicles to be located on one site.
Gates open at 8am with breakfast available for early birds.
There will be a wide variety of food stalls open throughout the day thanks to various Cora Lynn sporting clubs.
Display car and driver entry is $5, general public $5 entry, and children under 12 can enter for free.
The event is proudly supported by the RACV, the Pakenham Gazette, B.O.C Tyres, Meguiars, the Warragul Gazette and Pakenham Car Megamart.
All proceeds will be donated to the Cora Lynn Community Sporting Clubs and Recreation Reserve.
