TWO young boys were seen walking away from a grass fire set in a residential Pakenham street, according to witnesses.
Police said scrub and grass off Darwin Way, Pakenham, were burnt as a result of a fire discovered about 9.45am on Saturday 22 October.
The witness, who had put out the flames, had seen the boys leaving the scene.
Police reported a 2 x 2 metre patch of damaged grass.
