Parked cars targeted

A STRING of parked cars were targeted in central Pakenham overnight on Saturday.
A car’s number plates were removed in Thwaites Road, while offenders snatched a wallet from another car parked in Cassowary Avenue.
Minor items were stolen from a car in Sheoak Court, including a first aid kit.
During that same night on Saturday 7 January, offenders entered a shed, believed to be unlocked, in the backyard of a private property in Eagle Drive.
The offender stole a couple of brushcutters, a lawn mower and a tent worth a total of $850.
Police have not yet found the burglar responsible for stealing $2000 worth of cash and jewellery after forcing their way through the front door of a house in Christie Court last Tuesday morning.
