SINGING and dancing troupe Justice Crew are bringing their fun catchy beats to Pakenham for its sole Melbourne show as they tour the nation.
Justice Crew rose to fame in 2010 when they won the Australia’s Got Talent contest after wowing audiences with their dance moves.
But they surprised the nation by their versatility when they signed a record deal soon after, before releasing hit after hit, proving themselves as singers.
Their first three singles ‘And Then We Dance’, ‘Friday to Sunday’ and ‘Dance with Me’ achieved ARIA Chart success and the band earned its first No. 1 single with ‘Boom Boom’ and later with ‘Que Sera’ which translates to ‘Whatever will be, will be.
They have since toured with international artists such as Chris Brown, Janet Jackson, One Direction, Kesha and Pitbull.
“It seems as if every opportunity just gets bigger and better for us, so we just take whatever we can and make the best of it. We just want to keep working hard until we reach our goals, and even then we won’t stop,” band member John Pearce said.
“There were a few people who thought we’d have our 15 seconds of fame and then fade out, but it’s been nearly four years in the public eye now and we’re still here.
“Que Sera was a bit of a different sound for Justice Crew. It’s a different direction for us, which is great because we wanted to evolve and show how we have developed. It’s not always about partying and having fun, so we’re taking it a bit deeper this time around.”
In their latest headlining tour, Justice Crew will play 18 shows in a month across metro and regional stages.
The band will be selling and signing merchandise in the foyer after their show to spend some time with their fans from the southeast.
Justice Crew perform on Sunday 22 January at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, with supporting act Devine Our Destiny on stage from 7pm.
