A CAR allegedly dumped on the side of the road in Longwarry North was found fully engulfed in flames on Thursday night.
Police were called to the scene to assist CFA with a car fire on Labertouche Road at about 10.25pm on Thursday 19 January.
The front bonnet and front wheels were “up in flames“ when police arrived on scene.
Nearby grass on the nature strip momentarily caught alight and a witness said that the small grass fire extended about four car lengths.
CFA had the fire under control by 10.15pm.
