Bayles Primary School has been presented with a giant Bendigo Bank cheque for its Good Friday Appeal fundraising efforts.
Bendigo Bank Kooweerup Branch Manager Andrea Vincent made the presentation on Friday 24 March.
Tooth Fairy money, pocket money and loose change all contributed to the $1200 raised.
Students raised the money over four weeks by collecting donations in piggy banks supplied by Bendigo Bank.
Bayles Primary School Principal Matthew Anderton said he was proud of the students’ efforts.
“We got a really good response. It was really lovely to be a part of and to see the generosity of the kids,” he said.
Bendigo Bank also donated $500, bringing the total amount raised to $1700.
The money raised by the Good Friday Appeal goes to The Royal Children’s Hospital.
