Club recognition at awards ceremony

Cardinia Club has been recognised as one of the best community clubs in the state at a dazzling black-tie awards ceremony held at the Sofitel in Melbourne on Saturday 22 April.
Cardinia Club, which is a Pakenham Racing Club venue, won the award for Best Regional Club with Gaming.
Chief Operating Officer Paul Scanlon said the Cardinia Club had been recognised for the responsible gambling environment, the community grants program and the community engagement that the club provides.
“It was great result,” he said.
Of the 30 awards on offer, the Cardinia Club was a finalist in seven categories including Best Keno Club, Best Club TAB, Best Family Club, Best Community Support Program, Best Club Restaurant, Best Cafe Casual Eating Area.
Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming and Liquor Regulation Marlene Kairouz also attended the awards.
