Pakenham-based band Stonefox has just wrapped up its nation-wide tour showcasing the latest single Talk Me Home. Teaming up with Adelaide band The Winter Gypsy, the trio performed in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne to share their latest work.
Ethereal and gentle, but guided forward by a delicate pulse, Talk Me Home showcases the band’s ability to channel emotional honesty and thoughtful craftsmanship which has already received praise from Triple J, Triple M, FBi Radio, Majestic Casual and La Belle Musique.
“Talk Me Home is about the complexities of a fading relationship, it’s about wanting to hold on even though you can feel it slipping from your reach,” said the band’s vocalist Jenna Russo.
The band completely packed out their hometown gig at The Grace Darling in Collingwood last weekend, captivating audience members with their dreamy mellow-pop sounds against a stunning backdrop of smoke machines and fairy lights.
“It was so great to see everyone that came down to a show, supported Talk Me Home and made our tour so special. Lots of love to The Winter Gypsy for being the best tour mates” said the band’s guitarist Tim Carroll.
