Wild ride for hot shot couple

Join Bonnie and Clyde on the journey for fame and infamy.

Hot on the heels of its recent sell-out production of The Wizard of Oz, the Cardinia Performing Arts Company (CPAC) is proud to be bringing the Tony nominated, 2011 Broadway musical Bonnie and Clyde to Pakenham this month.
This true story of the infamous couple is retold with new energy and set to an exciting and unexpected score.
The story revolves around two sweethearts who meet and fall in love during the Great Depression.
Bonnie dreams of being on the silver screen like her idol Clara Bow, and she’ll do just about anything to make that dream come true.
Clyde is trying to make a name for himself as a modern day outlaw.
When the two meet, their desire for fame and glory leads them on a path of passion, crime, and adventure.
Bonnie and Clyde opens at the Cardinia Cultural Centre on Saturday 19 August at 8pm with a gala supper included after the opening night show.
Further shows will be held on: Sunday 20 August at 2pm, Saturday 26 August at 8pm, Sunday 27 August at 2pm, Thursday 31 August at 7.30pm, and Friday 1 September at 8pm.
CPAC has assembled an outstanding cast with Lyrebird Award winning actors Mitchell Stewart and Emily Hansford playing the lead couple.
Both of these actors were last seen together in CPAC’s Whistle Down the Wind.
Ms Hansford also recently played the lead role of Dorothy Gale in CPAC’s Wizard of Oz.
They are joined on stage by an outstanding cast of children and adults, mainly local residents from Cardinia shire, who would love to see their friends and neighbours come along and support them.
Tickets are on sale at www.trybooking.com, directly through the Cardinia Cultural Centre, or by phoning 0407 090 354.
