Books, toys, clothing, plants and bric-a-brac will be just some of the goods on offer at the TurningPoint Church Kooweerup’s inaugural car boot sale and hot rod show.
Held on 23 September at the town’s men’s shed headquarters, the sale and show is a fund-raiser for the community and is being hailed as a great day out for the entire family.
Along with the car boot stalls, which will see residents from across South-East Melbourne with an array of goods for sale, the day will also include a barbecue organised by the Kooweerup Men’s Shed, a coffee card, array of islander food and popcorn and fairy floss stalls for the children.
For the revheads, the hot rod show is sure to impress.
An array of cars of different colours and years will be on display, and the owners will be more than happy to answer any questions about their beloved vehicle.
The fund-raiser will be held from 7am to 1pm on Saturday 23 September at 235 Rossiter Road, Kooweerup.
