Flashy Ferraris revved through the small town of Lang Lang as part of week-long festivites in celebration of the Italian auto giant’s 70th birthday.
Thursday 12 October saw a number of the sports cars move through Lang Lang, following a day of circuit activities at Phillip Island on Wednesday.
Prior to the circuit day, the group had spent 10 October at Cruden Farm, the home of the late Dame Elisabeth Murdoch near Langwarrin, for the Concours D’Elegance judging of best in show.
The events were just some on offer across Melbourne in celebration of the milestone.
Ferrari’s Australasia chief executive Herbert Appleroth said the company’s platinum anniversary was a big deal, so it was going all out.
“We have a full week of celebrations,” Mr Appleroth said.
“The 70th anniversary only happens once, and it’s a unique opportunity for all our family members – and fans – to come together and celebrate what’s great about Ferrari.
“It’s not just for owners, but fans and the kids who will become the Ferrari fans of the future.”
