A man in his twenties is in a stable condition and is being treated for minor burns at Dandenong Hospital following an explosion at Gumbuya World.
CFA crews responded to reports of a gas explosion at the Tynong North theme park, about 1.40pm on Thursday 9 November.
“There was an incident with a pressure washer and as a safety precaution emergency services were called to attend,” Gumbuya World Business Director Ron Weinzierl said.
“A single worker was taken to hospital but the good news is that he is safe and well.”
A CFA spokeswoman said the scene had been declared safe.
She said five trucks from the Bunyip, Pakenham, Tynong and Longwarry brigades responded.
