Scrub fire in Bunyip State Park

A grass and scrub fire at Bunyip State Park has spread across approximately 20 hectares of land and is not yet under control.
The fire is travelling in a northerly direction from the Tonimbuk-Gembrook Road area toward Burgess Road, near Four Brothers Rocks (recreation site).
There are 10 emergency vehicles and four aircraft responding according to a CFA spokesperson.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) say there is currently no threat to nearby communities, however, residents should continue to stay informed and monitor weather conditions and warnings.
