Cardinia Australia Day 2019
Lakeside Residents Group are organising the Cardinia Australia Day Event activities to be held around the Cardinia Cultural Centre for 2019, the main financial support is from Cardinia Shire Council.
This free event will be open to all residents of Cardinia and will run from 12 to 4pm. We hope to coincide with the end of official Australia Day activities inside the Cultural Centre and we hope to have all the new residents and their families attending the Naturalisation Ceremony to also join in with the event.
There will also be entertainment organised by the Indian Association Cardinia Casey, the inaugural Jason Wood MP, Latrobe Electorate, Community Awards, an air Display from a couple of RAAF King Air aircraft over the lake.
All rides, amusements and food will be free. Including; hot Sikh snacks from their community; Gurdwara Siri Guru Nanak Darbar Officer as well as the Pakenham SDA Church with fruit cups; Hot dogs from Khans Hospitality Services; Lamingtons from Coles. BBQ’s (Beef & Chicken Sausage’s and Veggie Burgers), Fruit Cups,
The event will provide a day of free activities/amusements, face painter’s, henna art, balloon twister, animal petting farm, jumping castle’s, reptiles and Chair-O-Plane, mini ferris wheel, meltdown, pony rides, pat an pony.
Police, CFA and Neighbourhood Watch will also be there.

Hillview celebration
Hillview Bunyip Aged Care will officially celebrate 25 years of providing high quality aged care to residents of Bunyip and surrounds with an art show in March. The art show will be opened by Gary Blackwood MP on Friday evening the 29 March and will run till Sunday 31 March.
An anniversary cake to mark this special occasion will be shared by those present at the opening.

Melbourne Football Club AFLW Junior Clinic
Hundreds of local kids are signed up to join the Melbourne Football Club’s women’s team for a FREE footy clinic this Saturday at Casey Fields.
The clinic is aimed at boys and girls aged 5–12 years, where they’ll learn some new footy skills and have a whole lot of footy fun. There will be giveaways, activities for kids, Daisy the mascot in attendance, player autograph signings and much more.
The City of Casey and MFC proudly formed a 30-year partnership in 2009 and since then have been working together to promote and engage the community in sport, create talent pathways and provide unique opportunities for Casey residents.

Dedicated to kids, bring the whole family for Summer School Holidays action with kids activities to keep the kids entertained whilst the adults enjoy our relaxed country racing action.

Pakenham Library & Cardinia Leisure bring you Summer Time Stories.
The team at Pakenham Library will be holding interactive, family friendly story times at Pakenham Outdoor Pool this January!
Story time will be held around the toddler pool so you can keep cool & keep splashing throughout it!
