Beaconsfield Tennis Club members took a trip to Parliament House in Melbourne for their long standing dedication, coaching program and partnership with mental health organisation Ermha.

The club is invested in providing a space for every demographic in the community.

Beaconsfield Tennis Club and Innovative Tennis Management united to provide an inclusive program.

“Equal opportunity and diversity is crucial to the flow and compassion of the society you want to contribute to,” head coach Paul Rowbottom said.

“The Parliament House trip was fantastic. We were ushered through by security at Government House.

“With the bus parked at the front steps and door of the grand building we were greeted by a Tennis Victoria representative and Government House official who took us on a grand tour. The art work and attention to detail inside the house was something to behold.”

After the tour the coaches ran a 90 minute coaching session and hit with the Ermha participants on Government Houses’ pristine lawn courts.

“Since I have been coaching at Beaconsfield, the club has accepted everyone from all walks of life with open arms using the coaching program, competition and social nights,” Mr Rowbottom said.

“Countless people involved with Inclusive Tennis Management have passed through our gates.

“It has benefited both organisations greatly.”
