Q and A with Star News Group journalist Mitchell Clarke…

What is something people don’t know about you?

I hate phone calls – I seriously think I have phone call phobia, yet my job involves me calling people everyday.

What was your most memorable moment?

Witnessing Richmond FC win the premiership after growing up rarely seeing any football success. That was probably one of the best moments, and to spend it with my family made it all the more special.

What would your last meal be?

Smashed avocado, gnocchi or pizza – or all of them in one.

If you could collaborate with any sportsperson in the world, who would it be?

I mean, I’d love to play Serena Williams in tennis. I reckon I’d win.

What event, past, present, or future, would you like to witness?

La Tomatina in Spain.

Favourite television show?

Entourage – easily.

Which six guests, dead or alive, would you invite to a dinner party?

Damien Hardwick, Amy Winehouse, Ana Ivanovic, Richard Di Natale, Mila Kunis and my colleague, Jessica Anstice.

What is your most embarrassing moment?

I copied and pasted a quote from an interviewee and didn’t proof read it. I ended up publishing the word ’raw’ in a sentence instead of ’roar’. You can bet our readers let me know about it.

Where is your favourite place to travel to and why?

Hamilton Island, Whitsundays – the most incredible place on earth. Or Morocco – I love the people and culture.
