As term four draws to an end, staff and students at Beaconhills College Pakenham campus are in full Christmas mode.

To celebrate the festive season, students have been taking part in Christmas crafts and carols.

Grade 2 students showcased their musical talent at a special performance for their loved ones on Friday 29 November.

The concert celebrated the achievements of the students who have participated in the String Program, coordinated by Timmothy Osborne.

“Every Grade 2 student gets the opportunity to learn an orchestral string instrument for a semester,” Mr Osborn said.

“They have a choice of violin, viola, cello or double bass.

“The students have lessons in small groups and then come together to produce the concert that was held on Friday.”

The Berwick campus is set to have its carols concert from 6pm on Thursday 28 November.
