Local folk-pop trio Parkville are set to headline this weekend’s free Lake Side Sounds concert at Emerald Lake Park.

The band, which hails from the Dandenong Ranges, recently supported Kodaline during their 2019 tour in Melbourne.

Parkville will be supported by local artist Sage Mim at the concert on Sunday 1 March, which marks the last of three shows by Cardinia Shire Council and 3MDR 97.1fm.

The series kicked off on 2 February with a performance from the Cardinia Civic Concert Band.

Sunday’s event begins at noon at the park’s bandstand, and is free to enter.

In the event of a Code Red or Extreme Fire Danger Rating, as declared by the CFA, the park will be closed and the event cancelled.
