What is something people don’t know about you? I love spicy food.

What was your most memorable moment? Achieving my Road Rescue accreditation Why? I’m an older female member, I have never worked with any tools before joining VICSES and at the time it was very much a male oriented section of VICSES.

What would your last meal be? Chicken kiev on fried rice.

What do you love about being a volunteer? The team work, everyone is welcoming and very willing to work towards achieving a successful outcome whether it’s a tree on a road or tarping a house that’s been damaged in a storm.

What event, past, present, or future, would you like to witness? I would hope at present an immunisation can be found for the coronavirus.

Favourite book? I’m currently reading Love Your Sister by Connie and Samuel Johnson.

Which six guests, dead or alive, would you invite to a dinner party? My husband, daughter, son, their partners and my grandchildren.

What has been your most embarrassing moment? I don’t like having my photo taken so this!

What are your hobbies? Spending time with my grandchildren.

What has been your most memorable moment with the SES? Becoming the controller of Pakenham unit, knowing that the Pakenham members and central region staff had the confidence in me.
