Fashion parade

A fashion parade and luncheon is being held at the Lang Lang Hall Senior Citizens’ Rooms on Thursday 26 May. Starts at noon for a light lunch followed by the parade, presented by Kay’s Classic Fashions.

Admission $10.

Held the last Sunday of the month 8am to 1pm at the Bunyip Recreation Reserve.

Kooweerup RSL’s 100th birthday

We are having an open day/party on Saturday 28 May at the Kooweerup and District RSL sub-branch, 13-15 Station Street Kooweerup, from 10am to (approx) 3pm. We will be having an historic military display, Lions BBQ free sausage sizzle, birthday cake, face painting and balloon twisting, live music (Brian Candy), historic military costumes for kids to try on, a colouring competition for all ages (all entries on display), a coin snake – bring along your loose change and add it to the coin snake to see how long we can make it – all funds raised will go the Kooweerup RSL New Building Fund.

Autumn leaf painting

The final Kid’s Autumn Workshop at the Cardinia Cultural Centre will be a Autumn leaf painting workshop.

Bring as many fallen autumn leaves as you can find outside of your home on Tuesday 31 May from 10am to 12pm.

Australian Plants Soceity Victoria is launching a new district group! John Arnott – the manager of Horticulture at the Australian Garden at Cranbourne, RGBV is the keynote speaker.

Trivia Night

A trivia night is being held by the Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation of Australia on Saturday 9 July at the Hills Bub in Emerald.

Come and eat, drink, tease your brain and go in the running to win a holiday.

The cost is $10 per person for tables of up to 10 people.

Pakenham Auto Club is hosting a social bonfire at the club grounds for a relaxing evening! Come to meet the club and catch up on the latest events, showcase your red plates and share your experiences in Motorsport.
