AFTER the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti on 13 January, local theatre group The Gemco Players Community Theatre will give all proceeds from this weekend’s production of The Wind and the Willows at Emerald Lake Park to the disaster appeal.
The show starts on Saturday 23 January, all tickets cost $10. Two performances will be held per day, the first at 2pm and the second at 5pm.
The audience will follow Toads adventures around the eco trail with the weasel guiding the audience to various settings where the show will be performed.
There is plenty of audience participation in songs and dance, but be prepared for some astonishing surprises along the way.
