THE Kooweerup Netball Club has welcomed their new coaches for season 2010 and has commenced training.
Shane Bourke joins the club as coach of A and B grades with Donna Marsh as assistant. For the last three years Shane has coached the A and B grades at Drouin Netball Club, and coached the Australian Men’s netball team in 2009. Donna has returned to the club after having a baby and brings plenty of experience from the netball academy.
Local teacher Tania Miller has taken on C and D grades while Jo Wilson will again coach E Grade.
Kooweerup identity Kylie Lansdown will coach F Grade, having played with the club in her earlier years.
The Kooweerup Netball Club has training Thursday nights and welcomes any senior players to join in, at 7pm.
The club is also looking for girls to play in the 13s age group and invites them to training at 4.30pm. All inquiries to Regina Bell on 0434 531 559.
