CARDINIA Shire councillor Collin Ross is encouraging people to roll up their sleeves this Sunday (7 March) for Clean Up Australia Day.
Cr Ross said there would be a number of sites set up across the shire where people could volunteer their time to clean.
Cr Ross wanted families to participate. He will co-ordinate a group at La Porchetta, Princes Highway, Pakenham from 9am.
All participants will be provided with kits, which include bags and gloves. People can find out more about the sites around the Cardinia Shire at www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au or call 1800 CUA DAY (1800 282 329).
